ReferralAbility Checklist
Before going out to seek referrals, there are some things you need to know about yourself! Honesty in this assessment will go far.
____1. Can you communicate your DREAM with PASSION AND PURPOSE?
____2. How are your SOCIAL SKILLS?
____3. Do you LISTEN?
______4. Have you cared enough about the other person’s dreams, goals and challenges to go to 212? Are you effective in the relationship?
____5. Do you believe in yourself and engage in some sort of ATTRACTION activity to align yourself to “attract” the right clients & the “right referral sources”?
____6. Are you familiar and comfortable with the “rules of engagement”? (Chapter 5 of Dale Carnegie’s “How To Win Friends And Influence People”)
____7. Are you able to ask your referral sources “do you trust me?”
____8. Are you able to ask your referral sources “do you believe in my product and service”?
____9. Are you able to ask your referral sources “do you believe in my company”?
____10. Do you have a solid referral plan that realistically assess your social capital and your own contribution to that?
